Traffice was HORRIBLE. Speed limit was 70 and if we were moving, going about 35-40. After checking into motel, thought we would go to River Center Mall and eat at the food court and look out over the water. Welllllll
we got into a parade. Lots of women in red shirts and everything else they could find or make in red and white. Some of the shirts said Sigma Theta Tau and some had Education is Eternity. They took over the road and all we wanted was a parking lot. Found one closer to the French Quarter than the River Center Mall, so changed the eating plans.
But, this option was a good one.
This is what I saw out the window while eating and thought it summed up our day. We are now repacking for tomorrow, but don't have to go very far.......Maybe the blog will be interesting and exciting, but remember that after tonight, I am on bought time........
