THERE IS STILL TUESDAY

Well, our last day of our adventure did not turn out exacty like we wanted, but the company at the game was great. Jason, Jami, Jaden, Jaxon and The Starnes. The Rangers are now at 2-2 and the game Tuesday night in Florida will decide who advances. Would have been wonderful to have won yesterday as the energy in the stadium - well, you would have just have had to be there.
When we entered the game, we were given rowdy rags and Jaxon had to show me his.

Then, while we were still in the sun, Jaden showed me the way the rag should be used.
Had a good trip home, and boy did our bed feel good. Monte hit the floor running this morning as he had 2 big tax returns to finish by Friday.
If I have any readers out there, hope you enjoyed keeping up with us. Not much to report this trip as there was so much rain, but believe me, we had a good time. So, I guess this is it until we have another adventure. Will let you know.........

LAST NIGHT

These were our main singers for the cruise and they were good, but the guy in the white - he was great. We enjoyed all the shows.
Well, the bags are packed and two of them are already gone. We have to be out of our cabin by 8:00 in the morning, and yes, we have clothes for in the morning. Meet to get off at 8:20 and then transfer to airport where we sit until 5:05 ET.

PRINCESS CAYS

We have had a beautiful beautiful day. Sun was shining with a breeze. We were on the private island of Princess Cruise Lines. They had a buffet lunch that was great. Even picnic tables under a cover that made the breeze blow through.
This is what we did while on the island - laid in loungers and looked at the sky - or when our eyes weren't closed.

The trip has had it's ups and downs with the weather, but we have had a great time. We will be back - just will watch the weather a little better.

WE ARE SAFE

Just to let all that watch the news know that we are safe. Heard from someone in Snyder that St. Lucia had had a lot of flooding and one side of the island had been declared a disaster area. We had not heard that, but not surprised as this area had has more rain than usual.

DAY AT SEA & RANGERS

We have had a wonderful day at sea. The sun has been shining most of the day, but we had things to do inside. We spent more time today in our cabin than any other time, but C.J. said come on along, so we did. Game was great - well, since the Rangers won.

ST. THOMAS

Came into St. Thomas this morning to fog and rain, so we headed up to Deck 18 with the computer, games and books. Good place to be. Nearly all tours were cancelled.
Don't you wish you were here with us - it's great doing nothing......... Cleared up a little so I could get a good pic of the port. Not where we were 12 years ago as we tendered in from the ship.
We decided not to get off the ship - well, can you see the flag? That is how the wind has been all day. The ship is better than wind and rain. Monte has gone to watch "Clash of the Titans" in the Princess Theater.
Hey "Grands", Memaw & Poppa just might have to make another cruise (sigh) to be able to get shirts.

VENTRILOQUIST

RONN LUCAS & BILLY

WOW this guy is great. From Las Vegas. Performed for Queen of England and several Presidents. He is worth seeing. He makes you forget that there is not another person on stage with him. At one time, he was talking, the mike was talking, Billy was talking from the trunk and both hands and one foot were all taking.

He is on again tomorrow night with more characters. Can't wait.........

HELLO ST.KITTS - GOODBYE ST.KITTS

The Motown show last night was great. The other show of Music & Comedy of Gary Delana was not really what we liked, but he must have something as he is the comedy writer for some new judge on America's Got Talent and he will have a show on FOX next January called Kiss Me Quito - so I'll give him another chance.

This is what we saw at St.Kitts this morning. They were having 40-45 ft waves at the port, so the Port Authority told us to go away. So we did. So, what do you do? You go up on the 18th deck and get a chair inside and let the world go by. I stayed and read all day and Monte was a come & go. Could see the weather change by the minute. Got real foggy at one point and then at another it was raining and people were still in the pool and hot tubs. The rain is not cold and the temp is great.
Another show tonight and who knows what else? We don't. Go with the flow.
so until later.......

BARBADOS

We are pretty sure that Barbados is beautiful, but can only guess as we did not get off the ship. They had had heavy rain for 3 days and were flooded. All tours were cancelled. We still had plenty to do. Watched "Extraodinary Measures" this afternoon and it was good.....

Tonight we have a Motown show and a music and comedy show. Monte may watch football on the big screen. We have really enjoyed the big screen, and already watched more movies than we usually watch in a year. It is so pleasant outside. While it rained off and on this afternoon, we did not even care as we had gotten chairs under cover.

Tomorrow we are to be in St. Kitts, so will see if the weather lets me report on a tour..

ST LUCIA

These islands are beautiful. They are so green right now and of course the water is great. Took a tour of the island today and made several stops. But our bus driver Lindsey, still did not know which side of the bus to sit on and still drove on the wrong side of the road. If you could have seen the roads today, you would have wanted him to move over. They were hair pin turns and up and down, but we did see a lot of the 27 mile by 17 mile land.

Football was on the big screen all day, but was raining after we got back and not many stayed out. Was also on in our cabins. Tonight we went to see the hypnotist and laughed until we were crying. He was great.

Has rained every day, but we have been able to get off and be dry. Keep forgetting to say that out of about 3000, there are only 40 under the age of 17.

After the show, Monte went to see "Green Zone", and you know where I am. Gotta get up early in the morning, so will say nite for now and more later.......

ANTIGUA

The sky was clear for our trip ashore this morning. We took a trip through the villages and had some stops to walk around and take pics. Our tour guide was Captain. He was great except for the fact that he did not sit on the correct side of the vehicle and then to top it all off - he drove on the wrong side of the road.
Antigua has all the colorful buildings like the rest of the Caribbean. After we got back from our tour, we walked through some of the shopping center back to the ship. After getting back and eating lunch, we looked forward to sitting on the deck. Uh no - rain came again. Even with the rain, the trip is great. They have places to sit on the deck under cover.
Tonight, Alabama and Florida is on the big screen and right now Monte has gone in search of the Texas game. Met some really nice folks, but he just happens to be from UT, only now lives in Florida. Think we have talked to more people on this cruise than just about any other.
Tonight is another musical, and maybe the hypnotist and maybe football. Too much to do and then again - nothing.
later

ANOTHER DAY AT SEA

First, on Thursday night, we had a show about shoes. Then on Friday, we watched "The Karate Kid" 2010. Had my eyes closed a few times, but was good. Will Smith's son Jaden was the star. Then after the comedian show, we headed to the movies Under the Stars. Watched "The Bounty Hunter". What a view and had blankets, pop corn and cokes.
