Is that not a beautiful sight?? Why? because it means we are on the move, and we were ready. We were ready for tax season to be over. Monte seemed to be more tried this year and even tho I grumble, we both enjoy the season. Just getting older and take it harder.Left home with the thoughts of going to Dallas and heading down I45, but when we got to Weatherford, Monte said to cheeck on roads cutting across, so we turned off on 287 at Arlington headed to Ennis to hit I45. It was a good road and places we had not ever seen. That is the kind of driving we like to do - new places. Spent night in Corsicana and drove around for awhile - another thing we like to do when in a new town. Monte fell asleep with his clothes on and we were both in bed by 9:00. Yep - we're getting old.
Going on down I45 today and hope we can catch the Rangers double header tonight. We just want to get close enough to Galveston that we have a short drive tomorrow to get to the ship.
