HONOLULU, OAHU, HAWAIIAN ISLANDS

Okay, it has been told that my pics aren't showing up, so don't know what is up with that, but may have to wait until we get home to post pics. Will work on it, but remember, I am paying for my minutes......and don't know who is paying for my spelling.





Met in the lounge this morning to get started on our excursion. Had a tour of the city in the rain and not good pics at all. Then it was our turn at Pearl Harbor. Rained the whole time - until, it was our turn to view the film and cross over to the USS Arizona Memorial. It floats on the ship that sank and is very simple, but with a LOT of meaning. Saw the stadium where the Pro Bowl is played and wish we could have gone inside.





Then we hit the Wal Mart of Hawaii - Hilo Hatties. Believe me, they have it all and will find more for you. We left with two sacks and Monte helped pick it all out.....REALLY..





So now, its 8:00 and we are bushed. Grace serviced our room twice today and we were not here inbetween. Monte is taking a nap thinking he might be up to a movie tonight. Think I will just check out the TV as we have another shore excursion tomorrow and have to meet at 8:15. For you Texans, that is 1:15 in the afternoon. When we lose all this time coming home - it will not be funny and then we also have to deal with DST.





Guess I better go for now - I might have to do something important........
